• Pipeline sytsems safety

"The Gildea Group has dedicated itself to ensuring that its employees are provided with a safe work environment. Our goal as a company is to provide an incident free workplace for our workers and our clients with the understanding that safety and productivity go hand in hand.  We are of the understanding that our employees’ health and safety is vital to our company’s success, as well as the success of our clients.

It is understood that different clients have different expectations and policies. The safety department ensures that we strive to meet these expectations by performing pre-project meetings with supervisors and management. These meetings ensure that all safety, operational concerns and issues are addressed prior to specific jobs. Weekly job site audits are performed by our safety director and field safety supervisors to ensure all safety procedures and guidelines are being followed. This audit process provides information to management on how to improve safety and productivity.

It is our belief that each employee must take personal responsibility for their safety as well as the safety of their co-workers. Some of the best safety improvement ideas come from employees. You are encouraged to bring ideas to the attention of your supervisor or the safety department so we can continue to improve our commitment to safety. We also stress the importance of turning in near misses through our near miss program.

As a company it is our mission to build safety awareness among workers, supervisors, and team leaders at any opportunity.  Preventing injuries requires operational discipline by performing every task the right way every time. All employees are aware that it is their responsibility to stop work if unsafe conditions are identified. We also identify the needs of our company to constantly improve on our safety program

This brief statement is meant to provide you with a look into our commitment to safety. Our policies and procedures are designed to control potential hazards unique to each activity or job. We look forward to working with you in the future."
