Brian attended The University of New Hampshire and graduated in 2009 with a Bachelor of Science degree in business administration with a focus on management and accounting. He then continued his education at Penn State University where he attained a master’s degree in business administration with a focus on management.
Brian began his construction career working part-time for both GilCon & Associates and Pipeline Systems, Inc., as a laborer from 2004 to 2010. After completing his education, Brian began working as a project manager for The Gildea Group, servicing all the firms in the company. He worked along his father at GilCon & Associates and Goodea Construction Company with several higher education, industrial, and sophisticated concrete projects. He particularly excelled at working alongside his uncle to expand Pipeline Systems, Inc. into the booming Marcellus and Utica shale play market, advancing the firm into large scale oil and gas projects. He was promoted to vice president of Pipeline Systems, Inc. and took over as president at the end of 2018.
Within The Gildea Group, Brian is responsible for overall corporate management and leading the company through its’ continued commitment to the highest standards of safety, ethics, and core family values. He works closely with project managers, superintendents, and foreman to ensure the quality and timely completion of each project. He collaborates with the management teams of Goodea Construction Company and GilCon & Associates to assist in corporate decision making, as well as support the overall operation of the firms. Through his knowledge and expertise, Brian has helped to lead The Gildea Group through a decade of amazing growth and development.
